Class Outside

Sometimes, when the weather is nice, students go outdoors to complete class projects. Here are some photos of students working outside on a warm day in February.

Reading with Younger Students

In the fall, Walker students used books and technology to help younger students with reading.

Students read to a kindergarten class at Clark Elementary School. They used iPads to read the book and let the little kids turn the pages and tap the screen.
Walker students also used video conferencing to read to students at Jackson Via and Burnley Moran.
They performed a reader's theater version of this year's book selection Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad.
