- American Heart Association
- Students participate in Jump Rope for the Heart event.
- Brownie Troop
- Meets bi-weekly and serves 11 girls.
- Charlottesville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi
- Five African American Men tutor students in reading and mentor students on Mondays of each week.
- Charlottesville Parks and Recreation
- Self defense and juggling classes.
- Hope Center
- Provides after school care and homework support for neighborhood children.
- Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) FISH Volunteer Program
- Friends in School Helping (FISH) community volunteers mentor and tutor selected groups of students.
- Richmond Ballet Minds In Motion Program
- Richmond Ballet works with 4th grade students on a weekly basis, culminating in a final production.
- Soccer Organization of Charlottesville
- SOCA provides opportunities and use of facility for students to play soccer.

- Volunteers participate in Book Buddies Program.
- UVa Day In The Life Program
- Work with CLASS program providing tutorial assistance twice per week.
- UVa HOO’s Ready for Safety
- Helped with the fall safety field day.

- 25 volunteers tutor 3rd and 4th grade students after school.

- Provides connection between home and school and supports students and teachers and Venable initiatives.
