Provides pizza for Leamos Juntos monthly meetings; coupons for Good Citizens.
First United Methodist Church
Donates school supplies and snacks for students, also partners with J-V to do the "Angel Tree" that provides gifts for students during the holiday season.
Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) FISH Volunteer Program
Friends in School Helping (FISH) community volunteers provide tutors and support classroom projects.
Kid Pan Alley
Artist- in- Residence Program for grades 2 - 4, where professional songwriters guide students in creating their own lyrics and melodies using a teaching model that incorporates many Language Arts SOLs.
Kids Lift Foundation
Sponsors the Toy Lift for children during the winter holidays.
Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church
Hosts Parent/Teacher Conference Night with spaghetti supper.

Richmond Ballet Minds In Motion Program
Richmond Ballet works with 4th grade students on a weekly basis, culminating in a final production.

Volunteers teach classroom guidance lessons to K-4 students. Topics included how to resolve conflicts, personal space and safety.

Sponsors competitive teacher grants.

UVa athletes volunteer to work with students on a regular basis.
UVa Curry School of Education
Provides placements and instructional supervision for student teachers.

Big Brother /Big Sister Program pairs UVa students with Jackson-Via students, and provide tutors to support students during the school day.
