NCLB Consolidated Grant Application
At its meeting on July 6, 2006, the Charlottesville City School Board will take action on the division's application for entitlement funds under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. The public is invited to review the application prior to the meeting. Comments may be submitted to Harley Miles at 434-245-2669.


School Board Self-Evaluation
On June 7, 2006, the Charlottesville City School Board conducted a formal self-evaluation for the purpose of ensuring proper discharge of its responsibilities to the community. The School Board will now develop and/or adjust the Biennial Board/Superintendent Priorities based on the soon-to-be-adopted Strategic Plan as required by the Virginia Standards of Quality. The Strategic Plan coupled with the Division Goals serve as the cornerstone for long-range improvement for the school division.
