Buford Students Submit Winning Essays
Six Buford Middle School students were selected as winners in the Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest sponsored by the University of Virginia Office of Equal Opportunity Programs. Students chose from two topics related to the legacy of Dr. King.
On February 13, the EOP team will come to Buford to award prizes and throw a pizza party for the two first place winners.
Winning students are in Mrs. Muse or Mrs. Boyd's classes. The winning essays are posted at http://www.virginia.edu/eop/pdfs/2012MLKWinners.pdf.
