French Students Visit Charlottesville Schools, Attractions
On Monday morning, Charlottesville City Schools Superintendent Dr. Rosa Atkins and Charlottesville High School principal Dr. Thomas Taylor welcomed 24 students and four teachers from Lycée Louis Pasteur from Charlottesville’s sister city, Bensançon, France. A brief reception was held at CHS in with the French visitors and community partners.
The visitors will stay with host families as they attend CHS classes and get a close-up look at the Charlottesville area, including Monticello, the University of Virginia, and other local attractions. The students will be in Charlottesville through Sunday, October 23.
