TheatreCHS is #1 at One-Act Competition
TheatreCHS, directed by Charlottesville High School drama teacher David Becker, won the Jefferson District Championship at the Virginia High School League One Act Festival at Charlottesville High School on Saturday. The ensemble performed “The Rules of Comedy” and defeated five other schools: Monticello, Western Albemarle, Louisa, Powhatan, and Fluvanna high schools. theatreCHS members will advance to the Region II Championships on 11/19 at Tuscarora HS in Loudoun County.
TheatreCHS can be seen in its upcoming play, "Fahrenheit 451" December 9-10 as well as the Spring Musical, "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying".
It rains in sheets during a CHS Performance of "The Rules of Comedy" by Peter Bloedel.
