Buford Band Tops in District Selection for 20 years
Twenty-four students from the Buford Middle School Band program have been selected to participate in the 2010 All District Middle School Band. Selection to the All District event is by audition only. Students must be prepared to audition on 5 areas of musicianship for the panel of judges. The auditions were held last Saturday at Jack Jouett Middle School.
This marks the 20th consecutive year that the Buford Band program has had the most students selected to the All District event.
The All District Band will meet on February 5 and 6 at Western Albemarle High School. The performance will be on February 6 at 3:30
