Buford Middle School Orchestra Captures Grand Championship at Musicale Festival
The Buford Middle School Orchestra captured the Grand Championship of the Musicale Festival on Friday, May 5 at Denbigh High School in Newport News. The 79-member orchestra earned a Superior rating, First Place in their division, and the Grand Championship for earning the highest scores of all the orchestras at the competition. In addition to these awards, the orchestra's bass section received the Outstanding Section award. The Buford Middle School Orchestra is directed by Don Brubaker.
