CHS Bands Capture Grand Championship in Pigeon Forge 2006 Fiesta-Val Competition
The Charlottesville High Schools Bands swept all categories at the Fiesta-Val Competition in Pigeon Forge Tennessee April 28-29, 2006. The results are as follows:
- CHS Symphonic Band:
- 1st place Grade 4 - Superior Rating
- CHS Wind Ensemble:
- 1st place Grade 6 - Superior Rating
- Outstanding Soloist:
- Eva Ryan
- OVERALL CONCERT CHAMPIONS!
- CHS Marching Knights
- 1st place Division 4 - Superior Rating
1st place Drum Majors
1st place Drum Line - OVERALL PARADE CHAMPIONS!
- OVERALL GRAND CHAMPIONS:
- C.H.S. BANDS (25 performing groups from 8 states.)
The CHS Bands are under the direction of Vincent Tornello.
