A Call For Entries For First Fridays In May At Clark Elementary School
Clark Elementary School PTO is sponsoring a family-friendly First Fridays event at Clark on Friday, May 5, 3:30 - 7:30 pm , at Clark School, located at 1000 Belmont Avenue in Charlottesville. The event is free and open to the public.
First Fridays at Clark will feature art and creations by Clark's students and staff. Event organizers also seek to add art and creations submitted by residents of the neighborhoods surrounding the school to the exhibit.
Artists & craftspeople who are residents of Friendship Court, Belmont & Carlton neighborhoods may submit artwork to Clark School's main office (entry doors face Clark's playground area) between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm on weekdays, ready to hang, on or before May 1st. All submissions should include artist's name, address, phone, title of piece, and media used.
Organized by Clark teacher, artist, and Belmont resident Aaron Eichorst, the Clark First Fridays exhibit will close out Teacher Appreciation Week, and the Clark PTO is sponsoring refreshments.
