Revised School Improvement Plans

The state requires schools Accredited with Warning in one or more of the four core curricular areas to undergo a state sanctioned Academic Review. At the end of the process, the academic Review Team presents to the school a Report of Finding that includes designated essential actions that the school must address. Within sixty business days of receipt of the Report of Findings, the local school board must approve the school's revised school improvement plan. Revisions must accommodate the essential actions from the Report of Finding. Five Charlottesville schools were Accredited with Warning in 2004. Each school participated in the Academic Review process at various times during January and February. On May 5, 2005, the School Board approved revised school improvement plans for the schools listed below.
