Efficiency Review & Process
Background
In the fall, the Charlottesville City School division contracted with the Virginia Department of Planning and Budget to have an efficiency review conducted by MGT of America, Inc. This process was undertaken to identify best practices in our school division as well as opportunities for increased efficiency. As stewards of public funds, it is important to use our available resources effectively and to ensure as much funding as possible goes to our core mission of instruction.
The Efficiency Review Report was presented at the January 8, 2009 Board Meeting, and is now available for download. The final report is 331 pages long. There is also a shorter summary version.
