Public Input on School Calendar Needed
A joint Albemarle County Public Schools and Charlottesville City Schools calendar committee has developed options for a Proposed 2010-11 School Year Calendar, based on community and staff input. The two school divisions try to adopt the same calendar by mutual agreement.
The proposed school year calendar is posted on the Charlottesville City Schools web site. Feedback may be sent directly to James Henderson, Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services at James.Henderson@ccs.k12.va.us.
The joint calendar committee reconvenes twice in January to make changes based on feedback received. The School Board plans to receive the 2010-11 school year calendar in February to adopt a final 2010-11 calendar.
