The Buford Middle School Orchestra, under the direction of Don Brubaker, performed at The Musicale Music Festival in Williamsburg on Friday, May 6, 2005. The Orchestra received the following awards for their performances:
¯ Superior Rating
¯ 1st Place in Their Class
¯ Grand Champion for the Highest Score in the Orchestra Division (98 Average)
¯ Concert Master Costanzo received “The Outstanding Soloist Award”
The Buford Orchestra is a 75-member group consisting of 7th & 8th graders at the Buford Middle School in Charlottesville City. The Orchestra’s Spring Concert will be presented Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in the Buford Auditorium.
